Chiropractic Care:

When the spine is misaligned it alters the bio-mechanics of the body which may cause the nervous system to become compromised, leaving individuals vulnerable to various types of disorders and disease processes. Our chiropractor, Dr. Scott Bensky, utilize proven and conservative chiropractic techniques in order to make the proper corrections and ensure optimal spinal health.

Physical Therapy:

The most successful type of rehabilitation is devoted to not only to healing, but the complete restoration of an individual's function. Under the direction of Dr. Joe Checchi, our primary goal is to integrate prescribed rehabilitative exercises and modalities to improve each patent's prognosis for their comprehensive long-term recovery. Rehabilitation consists of preventing atrophy, increasing strength, reconditioning, increasing flexibility of soft tissue, retraining intramuscular coordination, increasing stability, and improving bio-mechanical efficiency.

Pain Management:

Our pain management specialists offers traditional and alternative types of treatments for a number of different musculo-skeletal conditions. These diagnoses include neck pain, back pain, muscle spasms, trigger points, sciatica, and other related disc conditions. Our pain management doctors work closely with our other providers to devise treatment plans with the objective of reducing pain and increasing mobility with the least invasive procedures possible.

Acupuncture:

Acupuncture is a treatment based on Chinese medicine, a system of healing that dates back thousands of years. At the core of Chinese medicine is the notion that a type of life force, or energy, known as Qi ( pronounced "chee" ) flows through energy pathways ( channels ) in the body, much like water flows through an irrigation system. That energy is what drives blood and fluids to every cell of the body. When there is a breakdown in that system, your body lets you know by feeling physical or emotional discomfort. The acupuncturists job is to clear stagnation along these channels to maximize the comfort and well-being of the patient. This is done by inserting small needles into predetermined points along these channels. Acupuncture is generally painless, but some patients compare the sensation of the insertion of the needle to a mosquito bite. Acupuncture can be used for the treatment of musculo-skeletal Disorders, Fibromyalgia, Headaches, Neurological Disorders, Vertigo, Menstrual Problems, Infertility, Morning Sickness, Premenstrual Syndrome, Urinary Disorders, Erectile Dysfunction, High Blood Pressure, Gastrointestinal Disorders, Weight Loss, Dermatological Disorders, Asthma, Smoking Cessation, Allergies, Chronic Fatigue, Depression, Anxiety and Insomnia.

Massage Therapy:

Massage is a very effective way of promoting both physical and emotional well being. Massage enhances the function of the joints and muscles, improves circulation, general tone, relieves mental and physical fatigue. Massage also relaxes the body and produces a deep sense of calmness. Massage treatments, once thought of as a luxury, are now recognized for there general benefit to ones over all well-being.

Corecamp - Performance Training

Our Facility offers comprehensive strength and conditioning programs in personal, semi-private, and small group formats. For a completely customized personal training program you can sign up for 1 on 1 based training or you can split the cost of the trainer with 1 to 3 other individuals and still receive a completely customized program in a semi-private training program. Another option is our small group training program with a maximum limit of 8 clients per trainer and you will receive a complete, progressive strength and conditioning program with the option of a semi-customization for any specific goals that you may want to focus on. All new clients will receive a functional movement assessment, anthropometric body measurements and a 4 week training program that is customized to your individual needs and goals.

Corecamp - Athletic Performance Training

The one thing that separates the great athletes from all others is an individuals level of strength and conditioning. Most athletes practice and play their sports through out the year which helps improve there skill development, but they tend to exclude any type of structured strength and conditioning work. Strength training and conditioning is very important and required to take an athlete to elite levels. Without a solid foundation in strength and conditioning, the athlete will fall short of their true potential and be at higher risk of sustaining injury during play.

At Saddle Brook Chiropractic and Physical Therapy, we offer corecamp for the athlete, which are sports specific athletic development programs that will increase an individuals strength, power, acceleration, speed, flexibility, coordination and conditioning. We also offer a comprehensive functional movement assessment and will provide specific corrective work based on results of the assessment and the athletes specific needs regarding his or her sport.

Other Services Offered:

*Injury Prevention Programs

*Functional Movement Screening

*Concussion Testing

Insurance and Payment Plans:

Our practice gladly accepts most health insurance plans with the exception of medicaid. Individuals that are in need of our services and who lack insurance coverage need not be worried.
