Chiropractic is an overall way of looking at the human body. It's based on the idea that the body is self-sustaining and self-healing. While it's often perceived that chiropractic care is solely to treat back and neck pain, this is simply a small piece of what the we are really capable of handling. Our office not only treats soft and hard tissue problems such as sciatica and joint pain, but are largely called on to deal with more significant issues. We specialize in more chronic, severe pain and disability issues and know that long term problems associated with, "less then optimal care", can result in degeneration (arthritis, disk degeneration/ruptures etc.) We are very through with all our patients taking a detailed history of the problem(s), providing a detailed exam and in most cases x-rays to find the cause of the problem(s). We are not a drop in and get a "pop" chiropractic office but take your health seriously and therefore are detailed oriented in our exams, diagnostics and treatments providing very specific spinal corrective adjustments.
We have medical care at our clinic for the patient in more severe or acute pain who want or need medication for a more rapid relief. My philosophy is to do whatever is necessary to help relive our patients pain as long as we are also providing the natural corrective chiropractic and acupuncture care to fix the problem(s).
