Holistic Chiropractic Care
We've been delivering quality chiropractic care to the Lake County community since 1983.
Our approach is simple. We believe that health is among our most valuable possessions. And while we generally meet people after they’ve lost their health, our commitment is two-fold:
1. Relief Care:
When many people seek care in our practice they have one goal: relief. So that’s where we start! During this initial stage of intensive care, we have several obligations:
Uncover the underlying cause of the health problem
Suggest a care plan to produce the fastest results possible
Offer ways patients can participate in their recovery
Explain the value of post-symptomatic wellness care
2. Wellness Care:
We encourage our patients to achieve the highest levels of health they can. Through educational opportunities, we hope to communicate the value of ongoing chiropractic care. Our desire is to see our practice members abandon the prevailing sickness care model of health (waiting for symptoms and then taking action), in favor of the emerging wellness model.
Dr. Michael Duzey, D.C.
I'm Dr. Michael Duzey, my colleague, Dr Hoklas and I are please to welcome you to the Vernon Hills Chiropractic Clinic.
We are a family oriented family practice and offer both relief and wellness care. Many patients begin care in our office with a specific health concern and then realize that chiropractic is all about optimal health how to get well faster and stay well longer.
My Chiropractic Journey
"I was a skeptic," admits Dr Michael Duzey. An appointment was made for me to see a local chiropractor in Michigan, Dr. Otto Kolle, for low back pain I was experiencing during my freshman years at Michigan State. I was reluctant but went to humor my parents.
"It was incredible," continues Dr Duzey. I'll never forget that first adjustment. It was like a huge weight was lifted from my low back. That's when I decided I wanted to become a chiropractor.
