Dr. Lederman grew up in Oswego, Illinois, a southwestern Chicago suburb. He attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology with Highest Honors. For his professional education, Dr. Lederman attended Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri and graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic (Cum Laude) and Master of Science Degree in Sports Science and Rehabilitation (High Honors). Dr. Lederman has continued to pursue further training post-graduation. Dr. Lederman is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) and is also Certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT). Dr. Lederman is currently pursuing further training in Orthopedics. Dr. Lederman’s goal with patient care is “to inspire patients to take an active role in their health”.
Dr. Lederman utilizes a multi-modal treatment approach that includes patient education, exercise therapy (supervised and home-based), cognitive behavioral therapy, and manual therapy (joint manipulation and myofascial release). Dr. Lederman strives to offer evidence based, patient-centered, outcomes-based care.
Dr. Lederman values working with other healthcare providers such as behavioral health specialists, orthopedic surgeons, primary care physicians, and neurosurgeons. In Dr. Lederman’s free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife (Ashley), two cats (Nox and Gandalf), friends/family, exercising, and watching the Chicago Bears.
