Active as a former professional baseball player for five years and an assistant coach at the junior college level for three years, Dr. Gilmartin, is keenly aware of the physical demands of athletes of all sports. Both of his sons are current major league baseball prospects playing professional baseball. It is this experience that enables Dr. Gilmartin to be uniquely qualified to assist each of us as we strive for excellence in our fields of endeavor, corporate executive, mother, father, professional, student or family member.
Dr. Gilmartin strives to continually to improve and update his knowledge in the field of chiropractic by regularly attending and participating in research seminars conducted throughout the United States.

Aside from our ability to find and fix vertebral subluxations with chiropractic adjustments, we teach our patients special "blueprint" exercises designed just for them to help strengthen and correct their own unique problem. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home and can improve the effectiveness of your spinal correction by as much as 30-40%. In addition to skeletal misalignment, muscles and connective tissues can be out of place or strained by improper alignment and use. Specific exercises and stretches can help your body stay in balance and in health. Each patient is different with their selected needs and recovery times. Exercise activities will be personally administered when sufficient progress is made.
