Workers' compensation is a no-fault system of benefits paid by employers to workers who experience job-related injuries or diseases. <br><br>Q: How can the doctors at Aarrow Healthcare help me?<br>A: We have been treating work related injuries since 1997. Injuries to back, shoulders, wrists, carpal tunnel, strains and sprains have been evaluated and treated successfully at this clinic and many times without the need for surgery. Employers are required to provide and pay for all necessary medical care for injuries at work. You are entitled to reasonable and proper medical care to cure or relieve effects of work-related injuries or diseases. You have the right to select the physicians or facility that will care for your injury or illness. Generally, the employee must notify the employer within 45 days of the accident. We do not provide legal advice and will be glad to refer you to competent legal counsel.<br><br>Q: My employer told me that I can only see their doctor?<br>A: No. Illinois law provides that treatment be covered under workers' compensation.<br><br>Q: Can my employer or their insurance company stop me from seeing my doctor?<br>A: No. You have the right to choose your doctor who treats your work related injury.<br><br>Q: If I don't see the doctor the insurance company refers me to, can I they fire me? <br>A: Unfortunately the employer sometimes make this statement. Upon graduation Dr. Walter began work in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in the Chicagoland western suburbs.There, he cared for hundreds of people and their families and their supported by his passion to relieve pain and suffering.
